Rayquaza V

What Ace copies sold for in the UK

Completed eBay UK sales, in pounds, where the listing recorded the grader and the grade. The graders are not interchangeable here: across 154 cards with both, an Ace 10 sells for about 60% of a PSA 10, and an Ace 9 for about 80% of a PSA 9. The count beside each price is how many sales it is a median of.

What moves the price of this card

The Rayquaza V on this page is the Holofoil printing from Sword & Shield Promo Cards, and it trades at $25.18£18.95€22.18 in near mint condition. Only one printing of this card was produced, so there is no cheaper version to confuse it with.

Graded, it runs PSA 8 $12£9.03€10.57, PSA 9 $28.05£21.11€24.70, CGC/BGS 9.5 $31£23.33€27.30, PSA 10 $1,150£865.54€1,013. PSA has graded 693 copies of it. 140 completed sales are on file.

What is a PSA 10 Rayquaza V worth?

A PSA 10 Rayquaza V from Sword & Shield Promo Cards sells for $1,150. 30.8% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.

Is Rayquaza V from Sword & Shield Promo Cards worth grading?

On the numbers, yes. The average submission is worth $370.74 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $23.82 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it clears $246.93.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $1,150£865.54€1,013. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
