PSA has graded 2,553 copies. Where they landed:
Why the verdict weights the odds
Only 18.6% of copies reach a 10, which is why the top price is the wrong number to plan around. Weighting each grade’s PSA price by these odds, a submission is worth $109.62£82.50€96.54 on average against $105.49£79.40€92.90 for the card plus $79.99£60.20€70.44 at Regular, the cheapest level PSA will insure it at. That clears $4.13£3.11€3.64, so grading a clean copy is worth the wait.

What moves the price of this card
The Golem on this page is the 1st Edition printing from Fossil, and it trades at $6.88£5.18€6.06 in near mint condition. The other 1 printing of the same card sits lower, which is normal: the scarcer print run always carries the premium.
Graded, it runs PSA 6 $18£13.55€15.85, PSA 7 $22.44£16.89€19.76, PSA 8 $28.92£21.77€25.47, PSA 9 $54.41£40.95€47.92, CGC/BGS 9.5 $60£45.16€52.84, PSA 10 $422.34£317.87€371.94. PSA has graded 2,553 copies of it. 1,716 completed sales are on file.
What is a PSA 10 Golem worth?
A PSA 10 Golem from Fossil sells for $422.34. 21.7% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.
Is Golem from Fossil worth grading?
On the numbers, yes. The average submission is worth $123.33 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $5.50 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it clears $17.84.
Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $422.34£317.87€371.94. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
