Starmie V

What PSA copies sold for in the UK

Completed eBay UK sales, in pounds, where the listing recorded the grader and the grade. The graders are not interchangeable here: across 154 cards with both, an Ace 10 sells for about 60% of a PSA 10, and an Ace 9 for about 80% of a PSA 9. The count beside each price is how many sales it is a median of.

What is a PSA 10 Starmie V worth?

A PSA 10 Starmie V from Japanese Battle Region sells for $184.43. 61.0% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.

Is Starmie V from Japanese Battle Region worth grading?

On the numbers, no. The average submission is worth $143.18 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $93.91 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it loses $50.72.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $184.43£137.52€164.98. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
