Roserade

What moves the price of this card

The Roserade on this page is the Holofoil printing from Secret Wonders, and it trades at $7.58£5.71€6.68 in near mint condition. The other 1 printing of the same card sits lower, which is normal: the scarcer print run always carries the premium.

Graded, it runs PSA 7 $13.25£9.97€11.67, PSA 8 $33£24.84€29.06, PSA 9 $86.47£65.08€76.15, CGC/BGS 9.5 $95£71.50€83.66, PSA 10 $2,619£1,971€2,307. PSA has graded 136 copies of it. 224 completed sales are on file.

What is a PSA 10 Roserade worth?

A PSA 10 Roserade from Secret Wonders sells for $2,619. 10.3% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.

Is Roserade from Secret Wonders worth grading?

On the numbers, no. The average submission is worth $312.71 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $6.42 for a raw copy plus $369 to send it through PSA Super Express, so it loses $62.71.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $2,619£1,971€2,307. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
