Reshiram

What moves the price of this card

The Reshiram on this page is the Reverse Holofoil printing from Legendary Treasures, and it trades at $49.16£37€43.29 in near mint condition. The other 1 printing of the same card sits lower, which is normal: the scarcer print run always carries the premium.

Graded, it runs PSA 8 $10.50£7.90€9.25, PSA 9 $55£41.40€48.44, CGC/BGS 9.5 $61£45.91€53.72, PSA 10 $598.96£450.81€527.49. PSA has graded 32 copies of it. 175 completed sales are on file.

What is a PSA 10 Reshiram worth?

A PSA 10 Reshiram from Legendary Treasures sells for $598.96. 9.4% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.

Is Reshiram from Legendary Treasures worth grading?

On the numbers, no. The average submission is worth $78.51 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $28.43 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it loses $49.91.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $598.96£450.81€527.49. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
