Why the verdict weights the odds
Only 80.5% of copies reach a 10, which is why the top price is the wrong number to plan around. Weighting each grade’s PSA price by these odds, a submission is worth $222.23£165.71€198.79 on average against $115.99£86.49€103.76 for the card plus $79.99£59.65€71.55 at Regular, the cheapest level PSA will insure it at. That clears $106.24£79.22€95.04, so grading a clean copy is worth the wait.

What is a PSA 10 Mewtwo EX -P worth?
A PSA 10 Mewtwo EX -P from Japanese XY Promos sells for $276. 80.5% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.
Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $276£205.80€246.89. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
