M Mewtwo EX (159 Full Art)Grading odds
PSA has graded 849 copies. Where they landed:
Why the verdict weights the odds
Only 26.0% of copies reach a 10, which is why the top price is the wrong number to plan around. Weighting each grade’s PSA price by these odds, a submission is worth $82.90£62.39€73.01 on average against $108.74£81.84€95.76 for the card plus $79.99£60.20€70.44 at Regular, the cheapest level PSA will insure it at. That loses $25.84£19.45€22.76, so a copy is worth more raw.

The Mewtwo EX (62) on this page is the Holofoil printing from XY - BREAKthrough, and it trades at $12.98£9.77€11.43 in near mint condition. Only one printing of this card was produced, so there is no cheaper version to confuse it with.
Graded, it runs PSA 7 $19£14.30€16.73, PSA 8 $23.50£17.69€20.70, PSA 9 $31.25£23.52€27.52, CGC/BGS 9.5 $35£26.34€30.82, PSA 10 $247.01£185.91€217.53. PSA has graded 849 copies of it. 729 completed sales are on file.
What is a PSA 10 Mewtwo EX (62) worth?
A PSA 10 Mewtwo EX (62) from XY - BREAKthrough sells for $247.01. 26.8% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.
Is Mewtwo EX (62) from XY - BREAKthrough worth grading?
On the numbers, no. The average submission is worth $84.73 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $8.75 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it loses $24.01.
Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $247.01£185.91€217.53. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
