What Ace copies sold for in the UK

Completed eBay UK sales, in pounds, where the listing recorded the grader and the grade. The graders are not interchangeable here: across 154 cards with both, an Ace 10 sells for about 60% of a PSA 10, and an Ace 9 for about 80% of a PSA 9. The count beside each price is how many sales it is a median of.

What moves the price of this card

The Latios on this page is the 1st Edition Holofoil printing from Japanese Dragon Selection, and it trades at $12.72£9.48€11.38 in near mint condition. Only one printing of this card was produced, so there is no cheaper version to confuse it with.

Graded, it runs PSA 8 $32.99£24.60€29.51, PSA 9 $89.61£66.82€80.16, PSA 10 $500£372.83€447.27. PSA has graded 342 copies of it. 247 completed sales are on file.

What is a PSA 10 Latios worth?

A PSA 10 Latios from Japanese Dragon Selection sells for $500. 63.7% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $500£372.83€447.27. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
