Mewtwo & Mew GXGrading odds
PSA has graded 67 copies. Where they landed:
Why the verdict weights the odds
Only 13.4% of copies reach a 10, which is why the top price is the wrong number to plan around. Weighting each grade’s PSA price by these odds, a submission is worth $38.11£28.68€33.56 on average against $128.13£96.44€112.84 for the card plus $79.99£60.20€70.44 at Regular, the cheapest level PSA will insure it at. That loses $90.02£67.76€79.28, so a copy is worth more raw.

What moves the price of this card
The Heatran (Prerelease) [Staff] on this page is the Holofoil printing from SM Promos, and it trades at $51.78£38.97€45.60 in near mint condition. Only one printing of this card was produced, so there is no cheaper version to confuse it with.
Graded, it runs PSA 8 $47.98£36.11€42.25, PSA 9 $53£39.89€46.68, CGC/BGS 9.5 $59.62£44.87€52.51. PSA has graded 67 copies of it. 60 completed sales are on file.
Is Heatran (Prerelease) [Staff] from SM Promos worth grading?
On the numbers, no. The average submission is worth $38.11 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $28.14 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it loses $90.02.
Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
