CGC has graded 97 copies. Where they landed:
These are CGC grades. The prices above are for PSA slabs, and a CGC 10 is not the same grade as a PSA 10, so read the two as separate markets rather than one.
Why the verdict weights the odds
Only 9.6% of copies reach a 10, which is why the top price is the wrong number to plan around. Weighting each grade’s PSA price by these odds, a submission is worth $43.40£32.67€38.23 on average against $112.49£84.67€99.07 for the card plus $79.99£60.20€70.44 at Regular, the cheapest level PSA will insure it at. That loses $69.09£52€60.84, so a copy is worth more raw.

The Bagon on this page is the Reverse Holofoil printing from EX Dragon, and it trades at $13.11£9.87€11.55 in near mint condition. The other 1 printing of the same card sits lower, which is normal: the scarcer print run always carries the premium.
Graded, it runs PSA 7 $21.45£16.14€18.89, PSA 8 $23.98£18.05€21.12, PSA 9 $52.93£39.84€46.61, CGC/BGS 9.5 $58£43.65€51.08, PSA 10 $108.39£81.58€95.46. PSA has graded 83 copies of it. 140 completed sales are on file.
What is a PSA 10 Bagon worth?
A PSA 10 Bagon from EX Dragon sells for $108.39. 9.6% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.
Is Bagon from EX Dragon worth grading?
On the numbers, no. The average submission is worth $43.40 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $12.50 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it loses $69.09.
Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $108.39£81.58€95.46. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
