Mewtwo & Mew GXGrading odds
PSA has graded 57 copies. Where they landed:
Why the verdict weights the odds
Only 12.3% of copies reach a 10, which is why the top price is the wrong number to plan around. Weighting each grade’s PSA price by these odds, a submission is worth $143.05£107.67€125.98 on average against $125.17£94.21€110.23 for the card plus $79.99£60.20€70.44 at Regular, the cheapest level PSA will insure it at. That clears $17.88£13.46€15.75, so grading a clean copy is worth the wait.
1 of the 4 grades priced above had no sales at that grade, so the figure is modelled from the grades that did rather than observed.

The Alolan Sandslash (Prerelease) [Staff] on this page is the Holofoil printing from SM Promos, and it trades at $148.75£111.96€131 in near mint condition. Only one printing of this card was produced, so there is no cheaper version to confuse it with.
Graded, it runs PSA 8 $59.99£45.15€52.83, PSA 9 $74.99£56.44€66.04, CGC/BGS 9.5 $82£61.72€72.21, PSA 10 $811.11£610.48€714.32. PSA has graded 57 copies of it. 65 completed sales are on file.
What is a PSA 10 Alolan Sandslash (Prerelease) [Staff] worth?
A PSA 10 Alolan Sandslash (Prerelease) [Staff] from SM Promos sells for $811.11. 12.3% of the copies PSA has graded came back a 10, so that price is the best case rather than the one a submission should expect.
Is Alolan Sandslash (Prerelease) [Staff] from SM Promos worth grading?
On the numbers, yes. The average submission is worth $143.05 with every grade weighted by how often this card comes back at it, against $25.18 for a raw copy plus $99.99 to send it through PSA Regular, so it clears $17.88.
Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $811.11£610.48€714.32. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
